A love addict is someone who seeks to maintain a relationship, no matter how unhealthy or one-sided it may be, in the hope of receiving love and acceptance. A love addict almost always has deep emotional hurts somewhere in their past – wounds of which they may be unaware. They believe, often subconsciously, that only a consuming relationship can heal that hurt.

This is all? 15 minutes? One call? No more calling in? No hope coaches? No peer to peer? No co host? This feels lonely and sad to me in comparison to the radio show.
This may help a lot of ppl and be good for many. I don't want to bash this and be negative. I just personally don't like the new format as much. Maybe Dawson needed more free time. I wish him the best. I will miss the old show. And this may improve. I will look at future podcasts to see where this goes.

I agree, a podcast can seem unsatisfying after benefiting from a live call in show. Nothing would thrill me more than to have a live call-in show again. In fact, we are planning for that very thing. Hopefully it will become possible sometime in the new year. However, it will be online instead of broadcast. I did not leave radio because I needed more time but I did have reasons. Radio and TheHopeLine are very expensive. We have never charged anyone for anything. The reality is we simply didn’t have enough money to cover the cost of a live, broadcast show every week. But that doesn’t mean I am giving up. While not every podcast will deal with an issue that is meaningful to you, keep listening. One will soon. And by all means, let me know what topic you would like me to deal with. I am confident that, in God’s timing, we will be able to re-launch a live show online. By the way, my other reason is I think the future is online. So stay tuned. If you are a praying person, pray that we can get this done.
