God calms the fears of those who turn to Him!

"They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly." Psalm 112:8

Father God,

I am feeling fearful right now, Lord. I need your comfort and assurance. When I’m afraid, I put my trust in you. You are my refuge, my place of safety, a fortress of protection around me. Thank you for not giving me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. I know that greater is you who is in me, than he who is in the world. Take away my fears and replace them with your peace. Give me your comfort and assurance. I know I can more forward one day at a time, one step at a time, with God-confidence, confidence that only comes from knowing you. Help me to not lose heart but renew my spirit each day. Help me to fix my eyes on You and stand firm, trusting in You completely with my heart, mind, and soul. Thank you, God, for hearing and answering my prayer.
