A Prayer to Pray When You Can't Stop Lying

"For I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

Here's a prayer you can pray to help you when you can't stop lying.

Father God,

Create in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you. I know you detest lying lips, but delight in people who are trustworthy. I want to be trustworthy. I want to speak the truth in all I do, and in every area of my life. I want to be a person who has integrity and can be trusted by others. You command us not to lie. Help me to be obedient to you and your commands. Help me to not lie. When I’m tempted to lie, help me to rely on your strength to tell the truth. Your power infuses me to conquer every difficulty. I can do all things through Christ (you) who strengthens me. Thank you, Lord!
