Gretchen Lawson: It is a process and a journey to stop lying. First, we've got to recognize that lying is an issue. It's really good for you to recognize I have a problem with lying. To recognize that, to say it, and to begin to talk about it. It's also really beneficial to talk about your feelings, to not hide from your feelings. How are your feelings impacting your problem of lying? Practice truth-telling, that's another step to stop lying. Practice it with people you care about, with people you trust. When we practice telling the truth, we actually rebuild trust in relationships.
