Gretchen Lawson: Anxiety is something that can, over time, especially with developing good coping strategies, feel less intense, less difficult to manage. So, you can expect that your anxiety will feel less urgent than it does right now. It can be helpful to have a person that you can talk to that can help you come up with a plan. You don't have to figure out how to handle or manage your anxiety on your own. Some things that you can do on your own are looking at your sleep, making sure that you're getting enough sleep, making sure that you're eating well. Exercise can be very helpful when we're feeling feelings of anxiety. Talking to your support system, friends, family, spending time with people can be helpful when you're feeling anxious.
